The Oscar contains all of the needed components here in order to make the brewing surroundings for espresso. The brew group is produced from a cast of marine grade brass that offers the industry's finest heat conducting and corrosion resistant material. The engineers in Nuova built this brew set to enable the heat exchanger line from the boiler that it is always ready to brew, to recirculate. They also added the solenoid valve that prevents excessive strain but also releases built-up pressure at the conclusion of brewing keep it and to wash the espresso puck. Boiler Protection Characteristics To ensure long life and protection against over heating and burnoutNuova Simonelli constructed the Oscar's boiler with a security feature called Auto-Refill. This system keeps an eye on the water level in the boiler and when the level drops below a particular pointthe computer controlled water level system automatically adds more water. If the machine should run out of water and the Auto Fill system was not able to refill the computer will automatically turn the machine off to prevent overheating and damage. Construction The Oscar's steel frame is protected with a hardened ABS plastic exterior that will withstand even commercial use. It's simple to clean; it might not have the look of steelbut it won't ever corrode and scratch resistant; plus it hides fingerprints and dirt that show on steel. Its drip comes for hooking up a drip tray drainage line that is guide, with a punch-out disk. In addition, the drip tray can be flipped around to accommodate both large and small cups.
